Following her diagnosis of two types of cancer, Martina Navratilova has provided an update. The tennis icon revealed last month that she had throat cancer in addition to being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life. As she receives treatment, the 18-time Major champion is currently “hanging in there.”
13 years after receiving the all-clear from breast cancer as a result of radiation treatment, Navratilova revealed her cancer diagnosis last month. In November, the 66-year-old woman discovered a swollen lymph node in her neck. The following month, she revealed to her fans that she had breast cancer as well as throat cancer.

Following a message from a concerned fan shortly after beginning her treatment last month, Navratilova has now provided a brief update. What’s up, Martina? On Tuesday, a fan asked the retired former world No. 1: “Just remember, nothing can beat YOU.” She responded: ” I’m sticking with it, thanks:)”

Due to her work as a pundit, Navratilova was unable to attend the Australian Open last month. However, a statement from her representative stated that the prognosis was “good.” Stage one throat cancer has been identified in Martina Navratilova. Martina will begin treatment this month, and the prognosis is favorable. The type of cancer is HPV, and it responds well to treatment, according to the information.
During the WTA finals in Fort Worth, Martina noticed that her neck lymph node was getting bigger. A biopsy was done when it didn’t go down, and the results showed that it was stage one throat cancer.
