German open 2022 is the badminton tournament. Badminton superstars from all over the world participate in this tournament. The tournament is taking place at Westenergie Sporthallein in Mulheim, Germany, from 8th March to 13th March. This tournament is a part of BFW Super 300. And this is the 4th tournament of BFW out of 11. The German Open tournament is part of the German Open Championship. This is the 69th edition of the Championship held since 1955. As above mention, it is part of BFW Super 300. But, what is it? BFW is a cycle of 26 tournaments in which top-ranked players of the world are participating. German Open is also a part of the BFW Super 300. It has Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles and Men’s and Women’s mixed.
BFW world tour is divided into five categories i.e Super 1000 (consists of 3 tournaments out of 26), Super 750 (consists of 5 tournaments out of 26), Super 500 (consists of 7 tournaments out of 26), and Super 300 (consists of 11 tournaments out of 26). BFW’s final is held in December which is the ultimate goal of the players. Only the top 8 players of the BFW world tour are eligible to compete in the finals.
