India will want to avoid the embarrassment of a sweep when they play Bangladesh in the third and final ODI of the series on December 10. The hosts have already won the series, which is now 2-0 in their favor. Litton Das and co. now have a golden chance to completely overthrow India in a way that Bangladesh has never done before.
Given that India captain Rohit Sharma will not play in this final ODI due to a thumb injury, Bangladesh could not have chosen a better time to complete a sweep. The ODI series moves to Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Arena, where it will end before the Tests start on December 14 at a similar area.
India has never been as weak in one-day internationals as they are now. Due to numerous injuries, the team does not have any established stars. India is missing numerous stars in this series. Rohit, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Deepak Chahar are them. Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya are also absent due to rest.
Together, Bangladesh has performed admirably in cricket. One of the primary contributors to the hosts’ two consecutive victories over India is Mehidy Hasan Miraz, a player who scored a brilliant hundred in the previous match to set the stage for their victory over India.
He also played a knock that won the first ODI match. In order for India to defeat the hosts and win the series, they will need to ensure that he does not play in the third one-day international.
