The helicopter carrying David Warner is seen making a loop of the SCG in a video that was released by former Australian cricket player Lisa Sthalekar. When the aircraft eventually lands, there are likely some media and security officers waiting to greet the seasoned opener.
Warner was shown in another video released by the official BBL account stepping out of the chopper wearing his training gear. He was waving to the people who had gathered at the SCG to watch him arrive. And heading to the dressing room.
Warner was earlier said to be arriving at Allianz Stadium. But the SCG was prepared, and soon the seasoned opener showed up just in time for the matchup with Sydney Thunder’s bitter rivals.
Sean Abbott, a pacer for the Sydney Sixers, has a close friendship with David Warner. He has shared a locker room with him on the international scene. He said that Warner’s helicopter arrival will resemble the ones in Hollywood productions.
Before the Sydney Derby, he said the following to reporters:
“That’s very Davey of him, isn’t he a little Hollywood? The Sixers pacemaker stated before the game, “I brought the Lime bike in today. I am going to do the same the next day and ride out of the gate as Davey lands. “Warner will now hope to enjoy playing a lot of T20 cricket towards the conclusion of his professional career. Having previously retired from Tests and ODIs.
