The Dambulla Giants, who evolved from the DNA of the Dambulla Viking to become something far larger, arose from the historical magnificence of the Dambulla Viking. The squad is made up of a group of motivated people with a variety of talents who are relentless in their play and hungry for triumph. Despite their differences in skill, they all share the same attitude of purpose: to be named the LPL Champions in 2021!

The “Giants” will be recognised for playing a style of ultra-professional cricket that, in the long run, will lead to real growth for the sport nationally and serve as an inspiration to a new generation of supporters and players through their commitment to diversity and inclusion.
