Telugu Titans will next face Puneri Paltan in match no 102 of PKL season 9 which also happens to be the second match of Saturday’s Triple Panga. Puneri Paltan are the table toppers, and they will head into this contest as the overwhelming favorties. As far as the home team Telugu Titans are concerned, they have nothing to lose and currently languishing right at the bottom of the points table.
Telugu is already out of the playoffs race but in their remaining games, they would like to finish well. The Puneri Paltan are in hot form at the moment winning their last four Pro Kabaddi League matches. They sit comfortably at the top of the table and are starting to move away from the pack. Fazel Atrachali has shown his amazing leadership skills throughout the season guiding his team effectively week in and week out.
Aslam Inamdar, Manish Goyat and Akash Shinde have been consistent on the mat throughout putting up crucial points on the scoreboard. The Telugu Titans on the other hand sit at the bottom of the table, having managed a paltry 15 points in 17 PKL matches so far this campaign.
The encounter between the Puneri Paltan and the Telegu Titans is expected to be a one-sided affair. But the Paltan needs to be careful as the Titans gave a tough fight to the Patna Pirates in their last match. The Titans will rely on the strength of raider Siddharth Desai who will score another Super 10.
He will be supported well by Abhishek and Mohsen Magshuolou though they may not be able to earn too much. Defender Vishal Bharadwaj will continue his aggressive and instinctive hunting along with Captain Parvesh Bhaiswal. But the Paltan will unleash their raiding trio of Aslam, Mohit, and Akash who will set the mat on fire in the first half. Defenders Fazel and Sombir will combine well to trap Telegu raider Abhishek.
They may not be able to stop Siddharth, but defenders Abhinesh and Sanket Sawant will try and dash Siddharth out of the match. The second half of the match will be much more entertaining whereas the Titans may just surprise the Paltan.
Puneri Paltan will win.
