Multan Sultans (MS) and Lahore Qalandars (LQ) will face off in a rematch of last year’s championship game tonight at the Multan Cricket Stadium. In the previous Pakistan Super League season, Multan was quite dominant, but they lost to Lahore in the championship match.
As they get ready to kick off the new season on their own turf, the Sultans will be eager to avenge that defeat. On the other hand, the Qalandars will attempt to begin their title defense with a victory over one of the best teams in the PSL’s recent history.
Before PSL 2023 begins in Multan, the following are important statistics and figures from previous T20 matches played at this venue.

The newly constructed ground has seating for 15,000 people and is located on the outskirts of the city of almost four million people, just three miles from Islamabad, the capital.
With a 75-yard boundary and 10,000 seats, this big stadium is big enough to host a big event.
The batting surface at this location has been excellent. In PSL 2020, Multan prevailed in all three matches they played at home. The fact that batters enjoy themselves while playing in Multan is demonstrated by the average first-inning score of 169.
Multan Sultans prevailed over Quetta Gladiators by 30 runs in the most recent PSL match played at this venue. Rilee Rossouw scored a century off 44 balls to lead the Sultans to a fantastic total of 199/5 in their 20 overs.
