The appointment of Lasith Malinga to the franchise as a fast bowling coach has been a very exciting development. Dishant Yagnik is the fielding coach, while Trevor Penney serves as the assistant coach for the team.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
Since the beginning of the Indian Premier League, Director of Cricket Operations Mike Hesson has been the public face of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) coaching staff, with varying degrees of success.

Their fast bowling coach is the legendary Protas bowler Dale Steyn, while their spin bowling coach and strategy coach is the legendary Sri Lankan bowler Muttiah Muralitharan. Hemang Badani, a former hitter for the Indians, is now the fielding coach and scout for the team. SRH have chosen to hire notable coaches despite having less experience in the field.
