R Ashwin can break this record of Kapil Dev, Mohammad Shami can make this record

In India vs South Africa, Test Series R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami can make a big achievement on the tour of South Africa.

Indian spinner Mohammed Shami is also just 5 steps away from 200 wickets in Test cricket.

Shami has so far taken 195 wickets in 54 test matches for Team India.

Only Kapil Dev, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, and Javagal Srinath have taken more than 200 wickets in Test cricket from Indian Team.

R Ashwin now has a chance to overtake former Indian captain Kapil Dev on the tour of South Africa. Ashwin has so far taken 427 Test wickets.

Anil Kumble (619) and Kapil Dev (434) are ahead of him among Indian bowlers.

Ashwin will overtake the legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev as soon as he takes eight wickets in the Test series against South Africa.

Ashwin also has a chance to surpass South African pacer Dale Steyn, who has taken 439 wickets in Test cricket.
