Natarajan is a part of the Indian Premier League team (IPL) team Sunrisers Hyderabad. The pacer tests positive for Covid-19 after 11 days of his arrival in Dubai. The player was suppose to be playing against Delhi Capitals in the tournament. However, he test positive for coronavirus.
The match later took place after the entire team test negative for covid-19 and there are 6 more player under quarantine as they were in close contact with the player.
Natarajan is a left-arm pacer in the cricket team he is isolated from rest of the team after he test positive for covid-19. However, there are other 6 players who are also under quarantine. Another player Vijay Shankar too is under quarantine and isolated from the other team members.
The official team Sunrisers Hyderabad updated the news regarding the isolation of the player. The official team shares the news on the social media Twitter handle of the team.
The posts says, “T Natarajn has tested positive for COV 19, and is presently in isolation. We wish you a swift and full recovery, Nattu.”
BCCI officials updates that “Sunrisers Hyderabad player T Natarajan tested positive for Covid-19 at a scheduled RT-PCR test. The player has isolated himself from the rest of the squad. He is currently asymptomatic.”
The other players of the team those who were in close contact of the player are Vijay Kumar who is a Team Manager. Physiotherapist Shyam Sundar J is also isolated and under quarantine.
The Doctor Anajan Vannan is also under quarantine and isolated. Logistic Manager Tushar Khedkar is also under isolated with Net Bowler Periyasamy Ganesan.
Natarajan will be under going the covid-19 test for two times and after negative results twice the player will be allowed back to be on grounds. He will be under quarantine for 10 days and the treated will be on.
The player test positive for Covid-19 on the 11th day after he arrives at the venue. However, the test reports fort he player were negative thrice before.
