The draft for Bangladesh Premier League 2022 took place on December 27, 2021, and the teams were announced in the event.
There are also some changes in the rules that took place where the fixtures for the 8th season will take place under these rules.
The changes in the rules are bought up by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on December 27, 2021.
All the 6 participating franchises in the game are announced and set to start. With the matches for the league from Jan 21, 2022, which will continue till Feb 18, 2022.

BPL 2022 Changes of Rule
There are changes in the rules for Bangladesh Premier League 2022 by the BCB. The conditions have been changed and implemented for the new season of the league.
Here are the details about the changes in the rule or BPL 2022.
- Every team of BPL can play maximum of 3 overseas players in match
- Every franchise can sign 1 local player from any category and 3 foreign players
- Franchise can sign min 10 and max 14 local players and min 3 and max 8 foreign players.
