Its considered as the WWE 2nd biggest event of the year after the Wrestle Mania. Also considered as the company 5 biggest event of the years after the Wrestle Mania, Royal Rumbles, Survivor Series and Money in the Bank. Summer Slam aired on WWE network since 2014. Inaugural season of Summer Slam took place on 29th August 1988 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
