Three things you didn’t know about PV Sindhu India’s badminton queen PV Sindhu has amazed the world with her incredible rallies and powerful smashes.

Her play has sometimes left her opponents confused, out of breath, and unable to stand on the court. Numerous girls have taken up tennis and become avid players as a result of Sindhu’s presence on the court.

In almost every major badminton competition, Sindhu has won medals of every color, won gold at the World Championships, and moved up to the world’s second-highest ranking.

She also achieved success at the Olympics by winning a silver medal in Rio. However, Sindhu is now preparing to advance to the next level and become an Olympic champion.

    1. PV Sindhu took part in the second-longest women’s singles match in badminton history

The Indian superstar took part in the second-longest women’s singles match ever recorded.

In the final of the 2017 World Championships, Sindhu gave it her all, but she lost to Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara 21-19, 20-22, and 22-20. However, her intense duel with Okuhara, which lasted an incredible 110 minutes, became a record.

PV SIndhu's 73 shots rally win is not her victory alone. It's message to those within & outside that emerging India shall stay on it's two feet, strong & firm.
We're threat to no one but take our silence as sign of weakness at your own risk.

    2. PV Sindhu is the second woman to win five or more medals at the World Championships

She has established her authority at the competition. At the prestigious competition, the lanky shuttler won one gold, two bronze medals, and two silver ones.

As a result, Sindhu became only the second female shuttler to win five medals or more at the competition. She and China’s Zhang Ning, who also has two bronze, two silver, and one gold, are tied.

Sindhu, on the other hand, has the experience to her advantage and has a good chance of beating Zhang Ning to win her sixth medal at the Championships.

    3. India’s highest-paid female athlete According to Forbes’ 2019 list of the highest-paid female athletes

PV Sindhu earned $5.5 million as India’s highest-paid female sports player. Sindhu was tied with American tennis player Madison Keys for 13th place on the overall list of the top 15 most well-paid female athletes.

Prize money and endorsement earnings were taken into account for the list.
