Now due to the addition of Lucknow and Ahmedabad team in IPL 2022, it is expected that it is going to be the longest season.
Total 10 teams are going to fight aginst each other, From last 2 years IPL shift to UAE due to the serious situation of Corona in India.
Now BCCI does not want to depend on only on UAE, that’s why BCCI is now looking for a new country to host the IPL.
A BCCI official said to Indian Express,
“We cannot depend on UAE all the time so we have decided to explore more options, the time difference of South Africa is also good for the players.”
