India has a lot of work to do in the batting area as well. The rotation of strikers has been a major problem. India has three strong power hitters in Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, and skipper Harmanpreet, while Smriti Mandhana can timing the ball effectively, but they have not been rotating the stroke, as the skipper pointed out after the last game’s defeat.
The spotlight will also be on Jemimah Rodrigues, who has scored zero, four, and sixteen points in three games. The middle order hitter, who was a backbone of the Indian side that advanced to the Commonwealth Games finals in Birmingham, has to find the runs.
